About

About the National Friendship Movement

The Friendship Movement started at origin at a cocktail party, hosted by Euril Wilson and Lee Suitt, on Easter Sunday, April 19, 1981. From that time forward the NFM was formed, focusing on friendship, social responsibility, and committed parties. From our list of sponsors to the number of committed partners that have been together for decades, we are in overjoyed about recent national rulings affecting same sex marriage and look to its impact in creating well-adjusted confident adults who enjoy all facets of life equally.

In recent years, we have expanded our influence by selecting and supporting a local LGBT-friendly organization in the city where the reunion is being held. We also hold workshops on topics of interest.
