The National Friendship Planning Committee proudly announces the completion of the plans for our 37th Annual Friendship Reunion, (March 29th – April 2nd, 2018 in the beautiful and historic city of Charleston, South Carolina.
Themed “Back to our Roots”, we are determined to create a weekend that will foster a relaxed and social atmosphere that is filled with a historical experience and a good time to be had by all.

*Charleston is a city as rich in African-American History as it is diverse in its culture. The city was home to one of the largest slave trades in America, and one of the largest freedman’s communities in the South prior to the Civil War. Come join us on a tour that will explain and show the rich history that African-Americans played in our nation’s founding and growth. On this tour our we will see a glimpse into slavery in the south, the Civil Rights Movement in Charleston, and the unique culture and are derived from African American traditions still alive today.
